Limited Warranty
For more than 15 years, Douglas Nance has produced quality teak outdoor furniture. Douglas Nance products are designed to provide comfort and style for outdoor enjoyment. TEAK PRODUCTS:
Douglas Nance warrants to the original, residential use owner, all teak products to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for five (5) years (two (2) years for commercial use). Provided the furniture is assembled correctly and is subjected to normal use, Douglas Nance will repair or replace, at its option, the product part that is in question free of charge (material only, labor not included). The word “defects”, as used in this warranty, is defined as imperfections, which prohibit the utility of the product.
PREMIUM HARDWOOD PAINTED PRODUCTS:
Premium hardwood painted products are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years (one (1) year for commercial use). Provided the furniture is assembled correctly and is subjected to normal use, Douglas Nance will repair or replace, at its option, the product part that is in question free of charge (material only, labor not included). The word “defects”, as used in this warranty, is defined as imperfections, which prohibit the utility of the product.
In the event that a customer alleges a defect, Douglas Nance requires that a photo of the defect be sent to determine the nature and extent of the defect. All photos shall be sent at the customer’s expense to our "Contact Us" address. Warranty claims should be submitted using the form at the bottom of this page. Proof of purchase (e.g. order number, purchase order number, etc.) and the original shipping address is required for all warranty claims.
The limited warranty, as set forth above constitutes the sole and exclusive remedy of the original consumer purchaser with respect to any defective Douglas Nance product and is in lieu of all other obligations and liabilities of Douglas Nance. In no event shall Douglas Nance be responsible for any cost of procurement of substitute goods, lost profits, or any incidental, consequential, and/or special damages of any kind resulting from a breach of any applicable express of implied warranty, breach of obligation arising from a breach of warranty, or otherwise with respect to the manufacture and sale of any Douglas Nance products, whether or not Douglas Nance has been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage.
